Labrinth is a singer-songwriter, music producer and a multi-instrumentalist who gained prominence with the number-one single Beneath Your Beautiful, featuring Emeli Sandé. His other well-known songs include Earthquake and Last Time.
Career
His musical career began in 2009 when he produced the song Dead End for Master Shortie. His work on the song caught the attention of Guy Moot of EMI Music Publishing who wasted no time offering him a publishing deal. That same year, he co-wrote and produced rapper Tinie Tempah's debut single Pass Out, which won several awards including Best British Single at the 2011 Brit Awards. In 2010, he was signed to Simon Cowell's record label Syco Music.
