She attended Ranney School and Notre Dame High School.
She ended her previous relationship with Garrett Hedlund in 2016, and the following year, she began a new relationship with Jesse Plemons and has two children with him.

When she was only three years old, Kirsten Dunst began modeling for advertisements on television. She worked under Ford Models and Elite Model Management.
Her earliest television roles include the films “The Bonfire of the Vanities” and “Star Trek: Next Generation”. She rose to fame after she performed as a child actress in the American horror, “Interview with the Vampire”. She starred alongside popular actors such as Tom Cruise and Antonio Banderas. She received positive comments from Todd McCarthy and the Variety Media Company. Her performance earned her an award from MTV Movie Awards as the “Best Breakthrough Performance”.
She gained wider popularity after featuring in “Spiderman”, a movie released in 2002 and directed by Sam Raimi. In the film, she played the role of Mary Jane Watson, who was the best friend of Tobey Maguire (the lead actor in the movie).
Dunst began to mainly appear in romantic comedies like “Drop Dead Gorgeous”. Through the 2000s, she continued to act in popular movies including the Spider-Man trilogy and “Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind”. In 2011, Dunst starred in “Melancholia”, winning her a Saturn Award. She has since acted on a few TV shows and movies.
Aside from being an actress, she is also a musician and has recorded the following singles “Dream of Me”, “After You’ve Gone” and “This Old Machine”.
Achievements
Dunst was the recipient of the Silver Ombu Award as “Best Actress” during the Mar del Plata International Film Festival held in 2002. She has also received nominations from Golden Globe, Academy and Primetime Emmy Awards.
Trivia
She has helped the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation by promoting a necklace which generated enough money for the foundation.
