Dayvon Bennett, popularly known by his stage moniker King Von, was an American rap artiste, social media star and a songwriter. In September of 2019, he came out with his first album entitled "Grandson, Vol. 1"; the album featured on Hip Hop/R&B Songs Airplay chart as well as the Billboard 200.
In March of 2020, he came out with his second album entitled “Levon James” which featured artists such as YNW Melly, Lil Durk, Yungeen Ace and G Herbo.
Death
The Chicago-born rapper lost his life due to gunshot wounds he sustained during a deadly shootout outside a nightclub in Atlanta. Two other people were killed during the incident, which occurred on Friday, November 6, 2020.

His official Instagram account with the handle kingvonfrmdao had in excess of 2.4m followers as at the time of his passing.
Legal Issues
Von found himself in numerous legal troubles. For instance, in November 2012, he was arrested for unlawful possession of a weapon.

He was signed to EMPIRE record label and belonged to the collective, Only the Family, which was established by Lil Durk in 2010.
