About Ki Sung-Yueng
Ki is a professional South Korean football player, who rose to fame under the K League 1 club FC Seoul. He played the midfielder position. In 2010, he joined Celtic until 2012. He later played for clubs like Newcastle United, Swansea City, Mallorca, and others.
After having toured the world, he returned to his home country to re-join FC Seoul. Aside his club career, he played in his country's Under-17, Unde-20, Under-23, and later the main team.
Ki went on to represent his country at several international competitions, including the 2014 Summer Olympics, 2010 World Cup and 2019 Asian Cup.
Family Life
His father, Ki Young-ok worked as a football coach, while his mother is Nam Yeong-sook. He grew up with a sister named Ki Sang-ah. He wedded actress Han Hee-jin in 2013, who birthed him Ki Si-on.
Achievements
He was named the "K League 1 Player of the Month: March" (2021); "Swansea City Player of the Season" (2014-2015); "AFC Asian Cup Team of the Tournament" (2015).
He picked up the "Korean FA Player of the Year (2011, 2012, 2016); "Scottish Cup Final Man of the Match (2011); "Scottish Premier League Young Player of the Month: October (2010).
Ki won the "Asian Young Footballer of the Year" and "K League Players' Player of the Year" (2009); and "K League 1 Best XI" (2008 and 2009).
