Career
After graduating high school, Kenny Smith played basketball at the University of North Carolina. 1987, he was drafted into the NBA. He started his professional career as a point guard for the Sacramento Kings. Smith has also played for the Houston Rockets, Detroit Pistons, Orlando Magic, and Denver Nuggets. He has had a successful career, with a total of 9,397 points and 4,073 assists. He also won two NBA championships with the Houston Rockets. Since retiring in 1997, Smith has worked on TV as a basketball analyst.
