Kenan Thompson is an American actor and comedian best known for his decade-long appearances in the late-night live television sketch comedy and variety show Saturday Night Live, where he holds the distinction as the longest-tenured African-American cast member (12 seasons and counting). Prior to this, he was also known for his main roles in the sketch comedy All That and the teen comedy sitcom Kenan & Kel.
Film Career
In the big screen, Thompson is arguably best known for his portrayal of the trash-talking hockey player Russ Tyler in the sports comedy-drama film D2: The Mighty Ducks (1994) and its sequel D3: The Mighty Ducks (1996). He is also notable for his starring role in the comedy film Good Burger (1997).
