Kelly Clarkson is an American singer and songwriter.

Career

Kelly Clarkson was the winner of the very first season of the popular singing competition TV series American Idol. After winning this, she released her first hit single “A Moment Like This.” This single sold more than any other in 2002. Clarkson then continued to find success with her studio albums. After her debut album Thankful, she became more independent musically, but still found success. In 2011, Kelly Clarkson's album Stronger won a Grammy Award for Best Pop Vocal Album. She has since released two more albums, including a Christmas album.
