Kathleen served as Secretary of Health and Human Services for the United States for six years. In the said position, she played a key role in managing the Affordable Care Act's implementation. Prior to holding that position she took up several political positions in governments as the Secretary of Health and Human Services in President Barack Obama's cabinet and was elected Governor and Insurance Commissioner of Kansas four times.
At one point, Forbes magazine called her one of the world's top 100 most powerful women.
