About Katherine LaNasa
A trained ballet dancer, Katherine LaNasa first had an encounter with the film industry in 1989, the year when she worked as an assistant choreographer for the film, “Rooftops”. The following year, she made her first film appearance. She has since come to be known for roles such as Bess Bernstein-Flynn in the sitcom, “Three Sisters”, Donna in “Jayne Mansfield’s Car” and Adriana in “Satisfaction”.
Family Life
Her father, Dr James J. LaNasa worked as a surgeon. Her mother’s name is Anne Hardin. She was married to the late actor Dennis Hopper, 30 years her senior, from 1989 to 1992. The marriage produced one son. Her second marriage to actor French Stewart lasted from 1998 to 2009. She has a daughter with actor Grant Show, whom she married in 2012.
Trivia
Before going into film, she worked with ballet companies such as Ballet West in Salt Lake City, Utah and Milwaukee Ballet.
