Kal Penn's first film was Express: Aisle to Glory. He has been in a lot of films and TV series throughout the 2000s. This includes films American Desi, Van Wilder, Malibu's Most Wanted, Superman Returns, and Epic Movie. Penn is most known for playing the stoner Kumar Patel in the successful Harold and Kumar film series. Penn has also played a terrorist in the popular drama series 24. He has said he had mixed feelings about taking the role because he found it to be a form of racial profiling.
