Justin Carl Blackmon is his birth name, and he is a former American football player. He played as a wide receiver for Oklahoma State University and was the fifth overall drafted player by the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2012. However, his NFL career was unfortunately cut short after he was suspended indefinitely for substance abuse.

He was born in Oceanside, California. Blackmon is an alumnus of Plainview High School. During high school, he was a fantastic sports boy, excelling in track, baseball, football, and basketball. In football, he achieved All-America honors during his senior year and won the long jump title at the “Oklahoma State T&F Championships” in 2008.
College Highlights
From 2008 to 2011, he attended Oklahoma State University on an athletic scholarship. He was undoubtedly one of the most outstanding Oklahoma State Cowboys football team players. In 2010 and 2011, he won the “Fred Biletnikoff Award,” “Paul Warfield Trophy,” and was named to the “All-Big 12.” In addition, he was the 2010 “Big 12 Offensive Player of the Year” and the Offensive MVP at the 2012 “Fiesta Bowl.”
NFL Career Highlights & Suspension
Blackmon topped all rookies in the NFL with 64 catches and 865 receiving yards in his first season (2012).
Unfortunately, on November 1, 2012, he was given an indefinite, payless suspension for several violations of the “NFL’s Policy and Program on Substance Abuse.”
