About Junsu
Junsu is the stage name of South Korean singer, stage actor, dancer and model, Kim Jun-su. Also referred to as Xia, he got his start in entertainment as a member of the then-five-member boy band, TVXQ, which was launched by SM Entertainment in 2003.
Together with Park Yoochun and Kim Jaejoong, he left TVXQ and co-founded a new boy band in 2009 named JYJ.
He found success with both groups and as a solo act as well. His first solo project, the EP titled “Xiah”, was released in 2010.
He also achieved commercial success and critical acclaim with his first two albums, “Tarantallegra” and “Incredible”.
Personal Life
He grew up in Gyeonggi-do, South Korea alongside a fraternal twin brother named Kim Jun-ho who has risen to fame in China and Japan as a singer.
Achievements
From 2010 to 2019, he received more than 14 awards for his appearances in stage productions of the musicals “Mozart!”, “Elisabeth” and “Tears of Heaven”.
