About June Foray
June Foray is remembered for her large body of work as a voice actress. She was only 12 years old when she got her first gig in 1929 as a radio voice actress and by the 1930s, she had become a regular on the medium.
Her career spanned over 80 years, during which her voice was featured on radio, in animated films and television series and video games.
She was known best for voicing characters such as Natasha Fatale, Rocky the Flying Squirrel, Granny from the “Tweety” animated series, Cindy Lou Who, Nell Fenwick and Witch Hazel. She is credited with the conception of the Annie Awards to honor animations.
Family Life
She inherited French Quebec and Lithuanian Jewish ancestry from her mother, Ida Robinson and Russian Jewish ancestry through her father, Morris Forrer. She had two siblings. She had no children from either of her two marriages; first to Bernard Barondess and then to Hobart Donavan.
Achievements
She was the recipient of an Inkpot Award, two Annie Awards and a Daytime Emmy Award.

She died at 99 years old on July 26, 2017.
