Julia Francesca Barretto Baldivia, simply known as Julia Barretto, is a Filipina actress who became famous with her portrayal of Anna Calugdan in the 2007 Filipino television series, Kokey.
She has also had roles in the 2014 Filipino fantasy series, Mirabella and the 2015 melodrama series, And I Love You So.
Family Life
Her father, Dennis Padilla, is an actor and comedian while her mother, Marjorie Barretto, is an actress and a politician. She has four siblings: sisters – Claudia, Dani and Erich, and brother – Leon.
She was reported to have dated Filipino reality star, Joshua Garcia, who featured in Pinoy Big Brother.
Achievements
In 2014, the Yahoo Celebrity Awards named Barretto Female Emerging Celebrity of the Year and she won the Best TV Actress Award at the Candy Readers’ Choice Awards.
The 2017 Platinum Stallion Media Awards named her Best Film Actress.
Barretto also emerged as the Princess of Philippine Movies and Television at the 50th Guillermo Mendoza Box Office Entertainment Awards.
