Joseph Cross is an actor and producer. He achieved critical acclaim through his first-ever acting role as Jack Blumstein in the 1997 television film “Northern Lights”. He was then 11 years old. He has since risen to fame for his portrayal of Casey Hughes in the soap opera “As the World Turns” and Augusten Burroughs in the film “Running with Scissors”.
Family Life
His father, Michael J. Cross had a marketing job, while his mother, Maureen, was a real estate agent. He was raised alongside four siblings in Pelham, New York.
Education
He studied at the Pelham Middle School and Pelham Memorial High School, from where he proceeded to Hartford’s Trinity College. He later transferred to Columbia University.
Achievements
He received a “Satellite Award for Best Actor” for starring in “Running with Scissors”. As a child actor, he earned three Young Artist Award nominations.
