Notable Activism
He joined the public protests of farmers against the expansion of the area owned by the French army in Larzac. He also actively opposed Genetically Modified Organisms and attacked seed stores and fields of genetically modified crops. His most notorious activism was in 1999 when he teamed up with unionists of the dairy industry to demolish a McDonald’s building under construction.
Trivia
He co-wrote and published his book, “Hold-up à Bruxelles” in 2014.
