About Jordan Farmar
Following his top performance in the college league, Jordan Farmar joined the L.A. Lakers in 2006. He was a member of the team that won the NBA title in 2009 and 2010. Throughout his career, the Israeli-American basketball star, who was mostly used as a point guard, played for a number of teams including New Jersey Nets, Los Angeles Clippers, and Sacramento Kings.

Education
Before attending Taft High School, Farmar studied at Birmingham High School, and Portola Middle School. He also played for the University of California, Los Angeles basketball team.
Honors
After the 2003-2004 season, the Los Angeles Times named him as the “High School Player of the Year”.
His name was included in the Southern California Jewish Sports Hall of Fame in 2010.

He has featured for the men’s basketball team of Israel.
In 2008, he scored over 30 free throws in less than two minutes.
