He began playing basketball when he was in high school and then continued to succeed at the game during his university years.
In the NBA, he featured for the likes of the "Rio Grande Valley Vipers," "Maccabi Tel Aviv," and "Gran Canaria." After retiring as a player, he was appointed as the head coach of the Duke Blue Devils.
