Joe Hachem started playing poker at an early age but participated in his first tournament in the year 2000. He started gaining attention five years later when he made his debut at the World Series of Poker competition. At the tournament, he won the ‘No Limit Hold'em Main Event’ which earned him a sum of $7,500,000.
In 2006, the Lebanese-born Australian star won his first-ever World Poker Tour and went home with a cash prize of $2,207,575. His victory made him one of the few poker players to win both the World Series of Poker, and the World Poker Tour.
Family
In 1989, he married a lady who’s simply referred to as Jeanie. Their children are James, Daniel, Anthony, and Justine.
Trivia
He has appeared on the “Poker After Dark” television show on NBC.
At age 13, he was a chiropractor.
