About Joe Fulks
Multiple All-BAA First Team winner and 2-time NBA All-Star Joseph Franklin Fulks was an American-born power forward who played for the Philadelphia Warriors for close to a decade.
Early Life
The basketball player came from a humble home and first enrolled and graduated from a high school in Kuttawa, Kentucky. He then went to Murray State University in 1941 and graduated in 1943. The basketball player served with the 3rd Battalion and was discharged in 1946 during World War II (WWII).
Career
Fulks found his talent in basketball at an early age and was over the moon when he joined the Philadelphia Warriors. He made his professional debut in 1946 and played with the team until 1954.
In honor of his achievements, he was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 1978.
