Joakim Noah is an American-born professional basketball player who joined the Chicago Bulls of the NBA in 2007. He joined the French national basketball team in 2009 although he could have played for the American or Swedish team since he holds multiple citizenship with the United States, Sweden and France.
Achievements
He has been selected for the NBA All-Star Game and to the NBA All-Defensive First Team on multiple occasions. He was voted the 2014 NBA Defensive Player of the Year. In 2015, he was honored with the J. Walter Kennedy Citizenship Award.
Family Life
He is the son of Cameroonian-French singer and former professional tennis player Yannick Noah and former model and Miss Sweden 1978 Cécilia Rodhe.
