About Jin (Kim Seok-jin)
Jin is the stage name of South Korean singer and songwriter Kim Seok-jin. He has risen to international fame as a member of the widely popular boy band, BTS. He made his debut on the South Korean entertainment scene alongside the other six members of the band in June 2013 with “2 Cool 4 Skool”, a single album.
He is also known for the songs “Epiphany”, “Awake” and “Moon” which he performed solo for the band’s albums.
Personal Life
He grew up with an elder brother. He is also a graduate of Konkuk University, where he studied acting. He has been a resident of Hannam-dong in Seoul, South Korea.
Achievements
He was honored alongside the other BTS members by the President of South Korea with a Hwagwan Order of Cultural Merit in 2018.
Trivia
In 2019, he became an inductee of the UNICEF Honors Club for his donations to UNICEF Korea which have exceeded ₩100 million.
