Career
Jim was discovered singing at a talent showcase by Andy Griffith. Andy invited him to audition for a part on his hit television show. He was so good that he was invited to be on the show permanently. He has been in film including the musical “The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas”. He has 28 hit records with one certified platinum.
Personal
In high school, Jim became involved in acting because of having asthma and not being able to play in sports. Jim spends the majority of his time at his macadamia farm in Hawaii with his husband, Stan.
