About Jim Lee
The Korean-American, Jim Lee, is a writer and editor. He made his career debut in 1987. Lee co-founded Image Comics in 1992. He was the publisher and owner of WildStorm Productions from 1992-1998. Between the periods of 2010 to 2020, he was DC Comics’ co-publisher.
Lee’s recognized works include “All Star Batman & Robin”, “Uncanny X-Men”, “Superman: For Tomorrow”, “Superman Unchained” and “Justice League vol. 2”.
Education
He studied at River Bend Elementary School, St. Louis Country Day School, and Princeton University.
Family
Lee tied the knot with Carla Michelle. He fathers nine children.
Awards
He won the Harvey Award for “Best New Talent” in 1990. He also received the Inkpot Award in 1992. In 1996, Lee won the Wizard Fan Award for “Favorite Penciller”. Additionally, he won the same award for “Favorite Penciller for Batman” in 2002.
