Jill Ireland was an English actress who played Marian Starrett on the TV series Shane in 1966. Her film credits include 1957's Robbery Under Arms, 1979's Love and Bullets and 1987's Assassination.
Personal Life
She was married twice. Her first marriage was to actor David McCallum, with whom she appeared in several films. The marriage, which began in 1957, produced three sons, including an adopted son. The marriage ended in a divorce in 1967. Her second marriage was to actor Charles Bronson in 1968. The marriage produced two daughters, one of whom was adopted. She remained married to Bronson until her death in 1990.
Trivia
She died six months after the death of her son Jason, who died from an overdose.
