About Jesús Navas
Jesús Navas González is a professional footballer. He was 15 when he moved to Sevilla Atletico, the youth team of Sevilla FC in 2000. In 2003, he made his senior career debut with Sevilla and earned 285 caps in 10 years before transferring to Manchester City in 2013.
His international career began in 2015 after receiving a call-up to the Spanish U21 team. He debuted in the senior national team in 2009.
Siblings
He is the younger brother of former midfielder, Marco Gonzalez, who played in the Spanish division 2 league known as LaLiga 2.
Achievements
After the 2009/2010 season of the La Liga, he was adjudged the “Best Attacking Midfielder”. Notable championships won as a player of both Sevilla and Manchester City include the Copa del Rey, Supercopa de Espana, English Premier League and the UEFA Super Cup.
He was a member of the history-making Spanish squad that lifted the nation’s first-ever FIFA World Cup trophy. His side defeated the Netherlands in the finals of 2010 World Cup that took place in South Africa.
