Jeremy Lynn, popularly known in wrestling as Jerry Lynn, is a former professional American heavyweight champion.

He comes from Minneapolis in Minnesota.
Career
His wrestling career started in 1988. He began by wrestling in various independent promotions in Minnesota and Michigan, of which one was Pro Wrestling America. By 1989, he had started wrestling for Verne Gagne’s American Wrestling Association.
Lynn traveled to Japan in 1990 to wrestle for Universal Lucha Libre. Upon his return to the U.S., he wrestled for the United States Wrestling Association in Memphis in 1991.
He participated in a tournament for the USWA Southern Heavyweight Championship and lost in the first round. He went on to wrestle for the Global Wrestling Federation in Dallas in 1991.
In 1995, Lynn’s signature was snapped up by the World Championship Wrestling.
Achievements
He has won the World Heavyweight Championship twice. He held both the ECW World Heavyweight Championship and ROH World Championship on one occasion. He also held championships for the WWF Light Heavyweight Championship, WWA Light Heavyweight Championship, and TNA Division Championship. He held the latter title twice. He also twice held the NWA World Tag Team Championship.
Family
He got married to his wife in 2004 and they have two children.

He wrestled under his real name and sometimes under the masked alter ego Mr. J.L.
The two-time world heavyweight champion has also worked for Extreme Championship Wrestling, World Wrestling Federation, Total Nonstop Action Wrestling and Ring Of Honor.
In 2019, he signed as a coach and producer with All Elite Wrestling.
