About Jeremy Giambi
After winning the College World Series with the Cal State Fullerton Titans in 1995, American football player Jeremy Giambi was drafted into the Major League Baseball by the Kansas City Royals. He played his first match for the team in 1998 before he was sold to Oakland Athletics two years later.
He played for the Philadelphia Phillies, and the Boston Red Sox before ending his five years stay in the league. He also featured in the minor leagues for the Chicago White Sox, and the Los Angeles Dodgers.
Drug issues
He was arrested in 2001 for possessing marijuana. Four years later, it was disclosed that he enhanced his performance by taking banned substances and was mentioned in the famous Mitchell Report.
Family
During his time at Oakland Athletics he played alongside his brother called Jason Giambi.

He played for the California State University, Fullerton before moving to the MLB. He also attended South Hills High School.
