About Jennifer Syme
Jennifer Maria Syme was an American actress and personal assistant. She became well-known for her relationship with Canadian actor, producer and director, Keanu Reeves. They dated from 1998 to 2000.
Prior to Syme’s highly-publicized relationship with Reeves, she had worked as a personal assistant to the famous guitarist, Dave Navarro who is noted for his exploits with the rock band, Red Hot Chili Peppers.
She also worked with David Lynch, a director who gave her a minor role in his film, Lost Highway.
Family Life
She and Reeve’s daughter, Ava Archer Syme-Reeves, was a stillborn baby who arrived a month early in December 1999.
Death
She died in a car accident in April 2001.
Trivia
Musician, Marilyn Manson, was accused by Syme’s mother of giving her daughter illegal substances and encouraging her to drive in an incapacitated state, leading to the accident and eventually her death.
