About Jennifer Harman
Jennifer Harman rose to stardom in 2000 when she won her first World Series of Poker title. Two years later, she won her second title, becoming one of four female pokers to achieve that feat. She has also appeared on many television shows including GSN’s “High Stakes Poker” and “Poker After Dark” which premiered on NBC.
That aside, Harman has participated in many recognized tournaments including the World Series of Poker Europe, and the Professional Poker Tour.
Charity work
Her philanthropic works have further won her lots of admirers across the globe. She’s the founder of the Creating Organ Donation Awareness organization. She has also supported other organizations such as the Nevada Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.
In 2009, she began a two-day poker event to support the National Kidney Foundation. The event was attended by some well-known personalities in the game including Howard Lederer and Lon McEachern.
Family
At age 17, she lost her mum and sister to kidney-related issues. Her marriage to Marco Traniello produced a set of twins.
Achievements
She was selected into the famous Poker Hall of Fame in 2015.
