About Jeanie Buss
Jeanie Buss entered into sports administration at the age of 19 years. She started with the Los Angeles Strings where she served as the general manager. Working with the Buss Family Trusts, which was founded by her dad Jerry Buss, Jeanie later purchased the roller hockey club known as the Los Angeles Blades.
She went on to serve as the vice-president of the Los Angeles Lakers in the NBA, before becoming the head of the franchise in 2013. She’s also known for her association with the wrestling promotion organization called ‘WOW – Women of Wrestling’.
Family
Her mother is called Joann, and she has three siblings named Jim, Janie, and Johnny. In 1990, she became the wife of former volleyball star Steve Timmons. Their union lasted for three years. She has also been in a relationship with actor Jay Mohr, and former basketball player Phil Jackson.

She graduated from the University of Southern California.
Achievements
Buss led the Lakers to the NBA championship in 2022. This made her the first woman to head a team to win the title.
