About Jean Tinguely
Jean Tinguely was the inventor of the art machine known as the Métamatics. The Swiss sculptor was regarded as one of the best kinetic artists of his generation. He shot to fame with his 1960 work “Homage to New York”.
Tinguely also produced many interesting arts with some labelled “Chaos I” and “Machines - Le Transport”. His works have been displayed at a number of centers including New York City’s Museum of Modern Art.

He ended his marriage to Eva Aeppli before tying the knot with Eva Aeppli. He was also in a relationship with Bulgarian artist Milena Palakarkina.
