At birth, the name given to him was Javier Garrido Behobide and he started his football career in his hometown when he joined Real Sociedad B.
Career
After he left Real Sociedad B, he joined Manchester City in 2007 after signing to play with them for four years. His time with the team was fruitful and he gained some victories together with them. He left the team to the benefit of Lazio. When he joined them, he agreed to play with them for four years. Not long after, he got problems after having an issue with his Achilles tendon. It greatly affected his game for some time but he pulled through.
In 2012, he was loaned to Norwich City and made it public that it was not a difficult choice for him to make. Because he was good on the field, they signed him on to play for them permanently for two years. After his time with them, UD Las Palmas recruited him but not long after, he decided to retire from football.
