Jason Varitek is a successful American professional baseball coach and former player who played for the Boston Red Sox in Major League Baseball (MLB) from 1997 to 2011.
He is widely considered by many as the best catcher in baseball history. After his stellar playing career, he took on a new role as a professional coach with the Boston Red Sox.

He has been married to Catherine Panagiotopoulos. Their marriage took place in 2011.
He has four children namely Kendall Anne Varitek, Alexandra Rose Varitek, and Caroline Morgan Varitek.
