About Jason Kidd
Jason Kidd is a former professional basketball player who won the NBA Championship in 2011 with the Dallas Mavericks. He was awarded co-NBA Rookie of the Year in the 1994-95 NBA season.
Career
Kidd played college basketball for the California Golden Bears men's basketball from 1992 until 1994. He entered the 1994 NBA draft and was the 2nd pick of the Dallas Mavericks.
He played for the Phoenix Suns, the New Jersey Nets and the New York Knicks. After retiring as a player, he became an NBA coach. His first job as a head coach was with the Brooklyn Nets.
Personal Life
His first marriage was to Joumana in 1997. The marriage ended in divorce and produced three children. In 2011, he married his second wife, former model Porschla Coleman.
Trivia
He won two Olympic Gold Medals as a member of Team USA in 2000 and 2008.
