About Jason Gann
During the early years of his career, Jason Gann worked at the famous Twelfth Night Theatre where he appeared in many children shows. He became a prominent name in the Australian movie industry when he starred and co-wrote the television series entitled “Wilfred”. The Australian filmmaker also created, starred, and wrote the American version of the series.
Other films and television series that he has worked on include “Mark Loves Sharon” and “The Illustrated Family Doctor”.

His mother is a country singer while his dad served in the military. In 2013, he tied the knot with Alejandra Varela, a model. Later that year, they had their first son named Xano.

Achievements
Gann’s “Wilfred” series earned him the “Best Comedy Series” prize at the AFI Awards in 2007. Three years later, he took home the “Best Screenplay in a Television Series” prize. He was named the “Comedian of the Year Award” by Australian GQ in 2011.

He was fined $594,452 after he was found guilty of assaulting a bus driver.
