Jarren Giovanni Benton is a hugely talented American rapper and songwriter. He burst into the rap scene in June 2012 with the mixtape, Freebasing With Kevin Bacon released under the now-defunct Funk Volume after the label signed him a few months earlier.
One of his most significant works is his first studio album, My Grandma’s Basement, which was released in June 2013. The album featured artists such as Dizzy Wright, Hopsin and SwizZz.
Jay-Z’s Roc Nation signed him in 2018.
