About Jamie Farr
With over sixty years of professional acting experience since making his debut as Santini in the social drama film “Blackboard Jungle” in 1955, Jamie Farr has continued to stay relevant as an actor even in his eighties.
He rose to fame in the 1970s for his performance in the war comedy-drama television series “M*A*S*H” as Maxwell Q. Klinger from 1972 to 1983.
Family Life
Both of his parents, Samuel N. Farah and Jamelia M. Abodeely were Lebanese-Americans. He was raised in Toledo, Ohio.
Since 1963, Joy Ann Richards has been his wife and they have two children together.
Achievements
He became an inductee of the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 1985.
Writing Career
He published an autobiography which he titled “Just Farr Fun”. He also collaborated with his wife on a children’s book, “Hababy’s Christmas Eve” which was released in 2003.
