Jamie Clayton debuted on television as one of the makeup artists and hosts of the makeover reality television series, “TRANSform Me” in 2010. Two years later, she was cast to portray Michelle Darnell, a main character, in the web series titled “Dirty Work”. She has become famous for playing Nomi Marks on “Sense8” and Sasha Booker in season three of “Designated Survivor”.
Personal Life
Clayton is a transgender woman. When she was nineteen years old, she moved from her home state of Los Angeles to New York City to find a job in makeup artistry. She is the daughter of Shelley, an event planner, and Howard Clayton, an attorney.
Honors
She was included in Out Magazine’s “Annual Out 100” award list for 2011.
