About James Anderson
James Anderson is arguably the greatest fast bowler in the history of cricket. He shot to fame in 2000 following his impressive performance at the NatWest Trophy tournament. The famous English cricketer is best known for his time with the Lancashire County Cricket Club which he joined 2001. He has also starred for the Auckland cricket team.
At the international level
Anderson is one of England’s greatest players of all-time. He was only 20 years when he was first selected into the senior national team. He showed glimpses of his talent in his first ODI game in 2002. By the end of 2015, the celebrated bowler had starred in four Cricket World Cup tournaments.
Personal Life
In 2006, he tied the knot with his longtime sweetheart Daniella Lloyd. The couple has two kids named Ruby and Lola.
Education
He studied at St Theodore's RC High School in Burnley.
Honors
The cricket star was made an Officer of the Order of the British Empire in 2015. Four years before that, he received Burnley’s Freedom of the Borough award.
Trivia
After playing his 174th game for England in 2021, Anderson became the country’s most-capped cricketer.
