About Jamel Debbouze
Jamel Debbouze is a stand-up comedian, scriptwriter, film producer, director, and actor from France. In 1992, he made his first screen appearance in the film, “Les Pierres Bleues du Désert”. In 1995, he created his own show named “C'est Tout Neuf”. Debbouze gained media attention somewhere in 2002.
He founded the Canal+ TV show called Jamel Comedy Club. He has worked with famous comedians, actresses, and actors such as Gad Elmaleh, Florence Foresti, and Fred Testot.
The films Debbouze has appeared in include “Asterix & Obelix: Mission Cleopatra” in 2002, “Asterix at the Olympic Games” in 2008, “Let's Talk About the Rain” in 2008, “HOUBA! On the Trail of the Marsupilami” in 2012, and “Why I Did (Not) Eat My Father” in 2015.
Family
He is the son of Ahmed Touzani and Fatima Debbouze. His five siblings are Nawel Debbouze, Karim Debbouze, Hayat Debbouze, Mohamed Debbouze, and Rachid Debbouze. In 2008, he got married to Mélissa Theuriau. He has two children whose names are Léon Debbouze, and Lila Debbouze.
