About Jam Master Jay
Hip pop legend Jam Master Jay soared to popularity in the 1980s as the DJ for Run-D.M.C., a revolutionary and renowned hip hop band. He became famous, thanks to his 1983 song "Jam Master Jay."
During his time with the aforementioned band, he helped in recording a number of successful albums like “Raising Hell”, “Down with the King”, and “King of Rock”.

His parents were Connie Mizell-Perry, and Jesse Mizell. He was raised together with his two Siblings namely Bonita Jones and Marvin Thompson.
