Jake Roberts, also known by the name "The Snake", is a semi-retired American wrestler who gained international stardom performing for the World Wrestling Federation (later known as WWE). During his tenure with the WWF (WWE), he was known for frequently bringing snakes with him into the ring. In 2014, the WWE honored him with in an induction into the prestigious WWE Hall of Fame.
Family Life
His father was the famous wrestler Grizzly Smith. He is the half-brother of professional wrestlers Robin and Michael. He fathered five children from his first and second marriages.
Trivia
He struggled for several years with an addiction to drugs and alcohol.
His sister, JoLynn, was kidnapped by the ex-wife of her husband and brutally murdered.
According to him, his mother, Paula, was only 12 years old when she conceived him after his father raped her.
