About Jade Goody
Jade Goody was an English reality television star and media phenomenon who first gained stardom appearing in the British reality television series Big Brother 3 (UK) in 2002. She also appeared in the Celebrity Big Brother 2007. She died tragically at the age of 27 after losing a highly publicized battle against cervical cancer.
Personal Life
She had two children with reality star Jeff Brazier. She married fellow reality star Jack Tweed in 2009. The marriage ended with her death the following month.
Trivia
During her appearance on Celebrity Big Brother 5, she caused outrage in India after she racially bullied Indian actress Shilpa Shetty, who was also a housemate on the show. She later apologized for her actions.
Prior to becoming a famous television personality, she was a dentist's assistant.
The then British Prime Minister Gordon Brown was one of the many prominent personalities that paid tribute to her upon her death. Mr. Brown hailed her for her bravery and for her instrumental role in raising awareness of cervical cancer.
