Jacob Anthony deGrom is a well-known American professional baseball pitcher, who began playing for popular Major League Baseball (MLB) side – New York Mets – in 2014.
Family Life
He was born to Tony and Tammy deGrom. He grew up with two older sisters known as Jessica and Sarah. He got married to Stacey in November 2014 and welcomed a son named Jaxon in 2016 and a daughter named Aniston in 2018.
Achievements
Anthony deGrom was honored as the National League (NL) Rookie of the Year, and Rookie of the Month twice in 2014.
He was chosen as an MLB All-star in the years 2015, 2018 and 2019.
In 2018, he received the Cy Young Award and became the NL ERA leader.
He again won the Cy Young Award in 2019 after leading the NL in strikeouts.
