Early Life
Born in Cuba, Ramirez was moved by his parents to the United States and grew up in Florida. He decided to become an actor after watching Gary Oldman’s film and was significantly moved by his performance.
Career & Rise to Fame
Ramirez made his screen debut in the American sitcom “Tyler Perry's House of Payne” in 2008. He went on to star in “Hacienda Heights” in 2010 and made appearances in the comedy “GCB”.
However, he eventually got his big break by getting a recurring role as Julio in the crime series “Power”. Ramirez’s performance instantly opened doors for him as he got a role in the super-hero series “Arrow”.
In 2018, the Cuban-born actor was cast as Oscar Arocho in the marvel series “Jessica Jones” and in the same year, he became a regular in “Manifest”.
