Personal Life
Jose Rene Martinez was the name given to him when he was born. He is the son of Maria Zavala and had two siblings though he met only one because the other passed away without him meeting her. He is known to have been raised single handedly by his mom and never met his father. He got married to Diana Jones in 2018 but had a daughter before getting married.
Career
A few years after marriage, he joined the army and about a year later, he was sent to the Middle East. While there, the Humvee he was driving hit an improvised explosive device (IED). He sustained serious burns and ended up at the Brook Army medical center for treatment. He had to endure over thirty plastic surgeries and was in the hospital for almost three years.
In 2008, he became a motivational speaker and in that same year, he starred in “All My Children” where he played the role of Brot Monroe. He was also cast in “Army Wives” in 2012. About a year later, he started working as a Sunday evening radio host.
