Personal Life
Kameni got interested in football watching his older brother by name Mathurin who was also a goalkeeper and player. His talent got recognized when he was just sixteen years old.
Career
He got the chance to join Le Havre AC after winning an Olympic Medal in the year 2000 and being the youngest football player to win that award. While he was a part of the team, he was a reserve throughout his time there and ended up being loaned to AS Saint-Étienne. He did not play there either then he was set to join Juventus FC. That also did not work out well. Wolverhampton Wanderers showed interest in Kameni and were prepared to sign him on but that became an issue when he was denied a United Kingdom work permit. It was after this that he got a chance to play with RCD Espanyol.
Kameni continued his career with Málaga CF. He went on to join Fenerbahçe SK in 2017 after signing a deal to stay with them for three years but in 2019, he left the team. He is also known to have been on the national team of Cameroon.
