About Huey Morgan
He has gained an admirable social status as a result of being the bandleader for the band that goes by the name Fun Lovin’ Criminals. The band was formed in 1993.
Early Life
Morgan is of American and Irish descent. Growing up as a child, he was involved in criminal activities which included drug peddling, which resulted in his arrest a number of times.
Fun Lovin’ Criminals and Other Career Highlights
As a leader of Fun Lovin’ Criminals, they have released about six albums as of 2022. The albums they released include “Come Find Yourself”, “Welcome to Poppy’s” and “Classic Fantastic”. Their debut album was “Come Find Yourself”.
He has made appearances on television shows including “Never Mind The Buzzcocks”, “The Underdog Show” and “Liza & Huey’s Pet Nation''. He co-hosted the latter with English comedian Liza Tarbuck.
Also, he featured in “Once in the Life”, a film released in 2000 that saw him play the role of Carlos.
He opened a tattoo studio in 2012 and managed it with Ami James.
Awards
He hosted the “The Huey Show” on BBC Radio 6 Music” and the show landed a Bronze Award at the Sony Radio Academy Awards in 2009.
Personal Life
Morgan and Rebecca became a couple in 2007 and both share a son called Beaumont.
Trivia
He released his book “Rebel Heroes: The Renegades of Music & Why We Still Need Them” in 2015.
