About Horace Grant
Former basketball power forward Horace Grant plied his trade in the NBA for 17 years (1987-2004). The former Clemson University Tigers men’s basketball team star made his debut in the NBA with the Chicago Bulls in 1987 following his selection in that year’s draft by the team. He joined the Orlando Magic in 1994 and played until 1999. He followed it up with one-year stints with the Seattle Supersonics and Los Angeles Lakers. He retired in 2004, after having second stints with the Orlando Magic and Los Angeles Lakers.
Family Life
He is the identical twin brother of Harvey Grant, who played in the NBA for 11 seasons. He is also the uncle of professional basketball players Jerian, Jerami and Jerai Grant. He has eight children of his own: five daughters and three sons.
Achievements
He won three NBA championships with the Chicago Bulls and one with the Los Angeles Lakers. He also played in the 1994 All-Star game.
Trivia
He has served as a special advisor to the president of the Chicago Bulls, Michael Reinsdorf.
